Loss

I see my fate in your cruel eyes,
There is only pain, suffering and a horrible demise.
You do not respond to my devastating cries,
You do not see my pathetic tries.
Sun changes to moon,
I feel my death coming soon.
Another day, another night,
In my eyes nothing is right.

But still it was an unforgettable walk under the glistening moon,
Even knowing that you’ll leave me soon.
Hope was slipping through,
And was crushed by you
I held you like a teddy, very tight
And watched the sun fade in the horrible darkness of this night.
My feelings were so strong,
But I was very wrong.

Like a helpless child,
Walking into the fire burning wild,
I felt so dark, and so alone,
Another toy that was by the cruel life thrown.
All my feelings were crushed,
I was by the darkness touched.
Forgot all my hopes, and all of my dreams.
Left alone by myself again, it seams.

In the morning I die,
In the night I rise,
Left to perish inside,
Nowhere can I hide.
